    Sydney Jewish Museum
    The Sydney Jewish Museum has two permanent exhibits. One celebrates the Australian Jewish Experience from 1778, until the present day, and has 3-D representations of Jewish culture and rituals. There is also a Holocaust exhibit. Video monitors featuring eye witness testimonies, as well as objects highlight this tragic time period.

    Australian National Maritime Museum
    The Australian National Maritime Museum is comprised of several galleries featuring both permanent and temporary exhibits. There is a floating museum which is home to a fleet of maritime relics, including an original submarine from the 1950's. The Welcome Wall, located beside the museum and adjacent to the Pyrmont Docks, celebrates the six million migrants who came to Australia, mostly by water.

    National Artillery Museum
    The National Artillery Museum is home to an extensive collection of military memoribilia. It holds firearms spanning over 200 years, war art exhibits, a warren of underground bunkers, original gunner's quarters, and an assortment of military paraphernalia. Guests may also view the Gun Park, which holds cannons, anti-tank weapons, and field artillery. A gift shop and cafe are also located here.

    Powerhouse Museum
    The Powerhouse Museum is set in a converted power station. The building is large enough to house full scale displays of actual trains, automobiles, and planes. The exhibits change on a regular basis, and they focus on science, technology, popular culture, and decorative arts. The majority of the displays here are interactive.

    Indigenous Collection at the Australian Museum
    A natural history museum with a vast collection that covers biological, botanical and geological specimens as well as an extensive collection of prehistoric items. These include a variety of reconstructed dinosaurs.
